Jazz piano

Jazz piano is not a different instrument but a different way of using it: chord symbols instead of written-out notes, improvisation instead of reproduction, and an ensemble playing in which you listen to the others rather than follow a score. Previous piano experience is useful; classical perfection is not. One teacher gives jazz piano lessons.
