I was myself a pupil of violin, viola and piano at the music school in St. Georgen for a long time, and I am delighted to be back here now, guiding my own pupils according to their individual needs and accompanying them on their musical path. During my studies in Hanover, Salzburg and Berlin I worked extensively on chamber music, orchestral playing and early music, and afterwards continued to develop and plan projects in orchestras, early music ensembles and chamber groups, recording CDs and giving concerts. Alongside this I have explored body work and mental training as well as creative sound and music therapy in depth.
My teaching work accompanied me throughout my studies and the years that followed, most recently at the Waldorf school in Hanover Bothfeld in string class and instrumental teaching for children in the support stream. The content of my lessons — matched to the needs and wishes of each pupil — covers technical command of the instrument, developing a constructive, creative and holistic approach to technical and musical challenges, unfolding imagination and joy in playing, dealing with performance situations, as well as making music together and responding to individual interests and priorities.
