Trumpet

The trumpet is the most assertive of the brass instruments and at home in wind music, classical music and jazz. It is small and easy to carry; the sound is made by the lips alone, the valves only change the length of tubing. That makes the beginning physical and progress clearly audible. One teacher gives trumpet lessons; in the Bläserbande and the junior wind orchestra the trumpet is there from the start.
