French horn

The French horn has the softest tone of the brass and the widest range — and it counts as one of the most demanding instruments, because the notes lie close together and have to be found with the embouchure. Anyone who takes it on is sought after in orchestras and wind bands alike. For beginners there are simpler instruments in F. One teacher gives horn lessons.
