My teaching was once summed up by my pupils in five words: • funny • stress-free • enjoyable • relaxing • simply lovely!
After 25 years of working with children and adults, it is a joy for me to see that my educational approach has borne fruit: conveying instrumental playing and a love of music, alongside discipline, with a great deal of fun. There is no way round the practice needed to learn an instrument, but the methods can be shaped together and productively. Responding to the individual needs of pupils and making learning accessible to everyone. Alongside my teaching I pursue projects as a solo and chamber musician and appear as a guest with various orchestras, both as a soloist and as a member of the ensemble.
