The table harp course, led by our harp teacher and music geragogue Anne-Kathrin Faulhaber, is an offer for adults who love music and for senior citizens.
The shared music session takes place every Tuesday morning. The table harp is an instrument ideally suited to taking up music later in life; no previous knowledge whatsoever is needed. Even with physical limitations it is usually still possible to play.
After only a few sessions the participants are able to play songs together. The gentle sound of the table harp is soothing, and meeting the other participants and playing together is experienced as a great enrichment.
Table harps can be hired from the music school. The harp stands were funded by the Freundeskreis, the school’s circle of friends.
