The saxophonist Elliot Riley was born in the USA and for 23 years was at home on the world’s great stages as a member of the Raschèr Saxophone Quartet. He has also performed with various orchestras, including the Berliner Philharmoniker, the SWR orchestra Baden-Baden Freiburg, St. Gallen, Dresden, Baden-Baden (with the singer Thomas Hampson) and Les Siècles. Riley has won many competitions in the field of classical music. A Fulbright scholarship brought him to Freiburg in Germany, where he has lived and worked since 2000. He has taught at the music school in Furtwangen and St. Georgen since 2012.
